Day 1: Arrival Stone Town
Meet and greet on arrival at the Zanzibar airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn or at Tembo House Hotel based on your preference on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Zanzibar Island Spice Tour, The Palaces, and Slave Caves
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a spice tour. You will visit several spices-growing areas to learn about the nature of the spices, how they are reared, and their uses. You can even taste and purchase some of the spices straight from the source. There is a wide variety of spices and herbs grown in Zanzibar including medicinal herbs, cosmetics plants, and ornamental plants. If the season is right, you will see such interesting spices/herbs as cloves, rambutan, iodine plant, nut meg, lipstick, vanilla, lemon grass, shampoo plant, henna, and many others.
Later in the tour, you’ll be visiting the Kidichi Persian baths built by the first Sultan of Zanzibar, Sultan Said bin Sultan, in 1850. After that, you’ll be taken to the ruins of the Maruhubi Palalce built in 1880. It was purposely built by Sultan Said Baraghash Bin Said to accommodate his 99 concubines.
- Lunch will be arranged at Serena Restaurant in Mangapwani.
- After exploring the area in the afternoon, you’ll get to visit the Slave Caves of Stone Town before having dinner at one of the restaurants in the town.
- Overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn or at Tembo House Hotel based on your preference on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 3 Zanzibar Cultural Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a cultural tour to get a firsthand experience of the everyday lives of the Zanzibari people and their enduring traditions. You will visit two very special villages and a local School.
- Lunch at a restaurant in town, then return to your hotel for relaxation.
- In the evening, you will go for a sunset cruise along the Stone Town waterfront.
- Return to the hotel for overnight.
- Overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn or at Tembo House Hotel based on your preference on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
