Following the morning breakfast, you’re met by our tour guide-cum-driver at the hotel who’ll brief you about the day’s safari plan. You’ll travel west to the Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley. We’ll come cross the fresh produce markets of Mto Wa Mbu village which is just outside the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park. In the markets, you can buy thousand of souvenirs as there are numerous shops selling them along with the fresh fruits. Lake Manyara is hailed as Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife park. The soda lake, Lake Manyara, after which this park is named, covers two-thirds of the park’s total area. It is a massive lake located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s escarpment on the western side. The varied habitat of the park is home to a wide array of wild animals which includes the densely populated African elephant herds, tree-climbing lions, flamingos etc. A picnic lunch inside of the park will be arranged, following which there will be two game drives. Late in the afternoon, we depart for Arusha leaving behind Lake Manyara National Park which will also end the safari tour. A tip of $20 should be handed to the tour guides for the service offered. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel which will conclude the tour package and our services.
